Return, Refund & Exchange Policy

At K C JEWELLERS AND SONS, we take pride in delivering quality jewellery. This policy explains the conditions under which returns, refunds, and exchanges are accepted, along with the process and timelines.

By placing an order on our website www.kcjsilver.com, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. Return Eligibility

Returns may be accepted only under the following conditions:

  • The product received is damaged, defective, or broken at the time of delivery
  • An incorrect product has been delivered compared to the order placed
  • Damaged/Incorrect Items: Must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with a clear 360° unboxing video. Claims without video proof will not be accepted.

👉 All return requests must be raised within 48 hours of receiving the product.


2. Non-Returnable Items

Returns will NOT be accepted in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Personalised jewellery, coins, utensils, God idols, earrings (for hygiene reasons), and clearance sale items are non-returnable/non-refundable (unless defective).
  • Slight variations in colour, texture, shine, or finish due to lighting, photography, screen resolution, or handcrafted nature
  • Incorrect size, design, or style selected by the customer
  • Products showing signs of use, wear, alteration, or damage after delivery
  • Missing original packaging, tags, or accessories
  • Orders returned without prior approval

3. Exchange Policy

Exchanges may be offered only if:

  • The product is damaged, defective, or incorrect
  • The issue is reported within 48 hours of delivery
  • The product is unused, unworn, and in original packaging

Exchange Conditions:

  • Exchanges are subject to product availability
  • Only one exchange per order is allowed
  • If the replacement product is unavailable, a refund may be initiated as per the Refund Policy

4. Refund Policy (Linked to Returns)

Refunds will be processed in the following cases:

  • Approved return due to damaged, defective, or incorrect product
  • Order cancelled before dispatch
  • Order cancelled by K C JEWELLERS AND SONS due to operational reasons

Refunds will NOT be issued for:

  • Change of preference
  • Delivery delays caused by courier partners or external factors
  • Normal wear and tear

5. Return / Exchange Request Process

To initiate a return or exchange:

  • Email us at wecare@kcjsilver.com
  • Share:
    • Order ID
    • Registered email or phone number
    • Reason for return/exchange
    • Clear images or videos (mandatory for damaged/incorrect items)
  • Our team will review the request within 2–3 business days
  • Customers must self-ship the product to our warehouse.
  • The item must be packed securely as received, and a video of the packing process must be shared.

Approval is subject to verification and internal quality checks.

Note: Return shipping charges are to be borne by the customer.

6. Silver Rakhi Policy

Due to the seasonal and hygiene-sensitive nature of Silver Rakhi products, the following policy applies:

  • No Return & No Refund will be accepted for any Silver Rakhi products.
  • Once sold, these items are considered final sale.
  • Damaged or Incorrect Items: A replacement may be offered only if:
    1. You contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
    2. You provide a clear 360° unboxing video showing the issue

Note: K C JEWELLERS AND SONS reserves the right to assess and approve such claims. The brand’s decision will be final.

7. Gift Policy

We understand that many of our products are purchased as gifts. To make gifting smooth, the following applies:

  • Gift items cannot be returned or refunded once delivered unless defective.
  • Personalised gift items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable.
  • In case of a defective gift item, the recipient must inform us within 24 hours of delivery with a 360° unboxing video.
  • Gift wrapping and packaging charges (if applicable) are non-refundable.
  • If a gift recipient wishes to exchange an item, it will only be processed if the buyer approves and all standard return/exchange conditions are met.

8. Important clauses

  • Force Majeure: K C JEWELLERS AND SONS will not be liable for delays caused by natural disasters, strikes, lockdowns, courier disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our control
  • Empty Parcel / Missing Products: Must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with a 360° unpacking video. Without valid proof, claims will not be honoured.

9. Product Inspection & Pickup

  • Once approved, customers may be asked to return the product for inspection
  • The product must be:
    • Unused and unworn
    • In original condition and packaging
  • Reverse pickup or return instructions will be communicated via email

10. Shipping & Handling Charges

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the issue occurred due to our error
  • Reverse shipping charges may be borne by the customer unless stated otherwise
  • Any applicable deductions will be communicated before processing a refund

11. Refund Mode & Timeline

  • Once approved, refunds will be initiated within 5–7 business days
  • Refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment only
  • Actual credit time may vary depending on bank or payment gateway processing

12. Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be issued if:

  • The returned product is damaged due to customer handling
  • Original packaging or accessories are missing
  • Missing Items in Returns: If any item is missing from the return package, the refund will be reduced by up to the full MRP of the missing item, including promotional/free gifts.

The refund amount will be determined after inspection.


13. Disputes & Chargebacks

  • Customers are encouraged to contact us directly before initiating disputes or chargebacks with banks or payment gateways
  • Chargebacks raised without prior communication may lead to delayed resolution

14. Policy Updates

  • K C JEWELLERS AND SONS reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time
  • Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website
